Types of Volcanoes

There are many types of volcanoes, but for simplicity they are often divided into two main categories: effusive (or red) volcanoes and explosive (or gray) volcanoes. This model provides a clear visualization to help understand these two major types of volcanoes. It was created with the support of the International School of Monaco (ISM).
