Perseverance

The Perseverance rover, part of NASA's Mars 2020 mission, is a robotic vehicle designed to explore the surface of Mars. Launched in July 2020, it landed on the planet in February 2021. Perseverance is equipped with advanced scientific instruments to search for signs of ancient microbial life, collect rock and soil samples, and study the planet's climate and geology. It also carries a small helicopter, Ingenuity, which is the first aircraft to fly on another planet. The rover plays a crucial role in preparing for future human exploration of Mars.
